Tiers of Skaters
All of my skaters are allocated into tiers. This to simply clarify where everyone is at and to have business and scheduling policies that match each type of skater.
Tier 3- These are skaters who take lessons from me without a contract. They are beginner skaters who are usually working on the basics of figure skating.
Tier 2- These are developing skaters. These skaters are anywhere from single lutz through double lutz. They have a contract, and they skate a particular time slot in the schedule along with the correlating off ice class. We are using the schedule to develop the foundations of training and to help skaters develop consistency. Tuition for these skaters does not cover competition fees or travel fees.
Tier 1- These are skaters competing NQS, preferably with a double axel. Skaters in this tier have to be invited by myself because they have shown certain traits or qualities that depict a more serious dedication to the sport of figure skating. Skaters also have a contract in this tier. Because travel is required for NQS skaters, the monthly tuition includes competition coaching and travel fees so that the fees are spread out throughout the year.
*This tier may expand to include skaters competing in the Excel Final (not the Festival) because travel is involved as well for this series, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
Drop In Calendar- The drop in calendar is for anyone to schedule private lessons with me. I put my availability up on the calendar and skaters can pick and choose when they want a private lesson. Any skater with the password can schedule a private lesson.
