Solicitation

• Other coaches may contact you and tell you to take from them. For some coaches, this is their primary method of getting new business.

• Sometimes, this is totally ethical, and sometimes it is not. It is not okay at competitions or other performances.

• Sometimes solicitation isn’t direct~ it can be indirect as well.

• If this ever happens to you, obviously you can consider it, but you should question the motives of the soliciting coach and if they have the best interests of your skater at heart.

• If you are solicited, please let me know. It is not because it needs to turn into a thing; it just helps me stay on top of the dynamics in the skating world.
