Videos About Tier 1 & 2 Skater Info
This video just goes over where to find things on the website and basic introductory information on working with a figure skating coach, etc.
The second video goes over the yearly timeline information and does a quick overview of all the policies.
The last video goes over scheduling;
Every skater has their time slot, and the number of days/week they are skating
Each month, families can re-schedule up to four lesson times for the following month. I highly encourage families to look at their schedule around the first of the month so we can plan accordingly.
If a skater is ill or an emergency happens, simply re-schedule the lesson.
Use the re-scehduling button on the mainpage for Tier 1 & 2 skaters to re-schedule any lessons.
I will confirm if a a re-schedule request works between the 25-31st of the month. For example, Nov re-schedule requests will be returned between the 25-31st of Oct.
Despite us having tuitions, please do not “no show.” Please make sure you let me know if you are not coming to skating if it is on your schedule.
Google Calendars: Melissa will put in everyone’s basic training schedule & an re-schedules. Families put in any extra skating classes, show practices, and competition times.
After School Scheduling Options
for Nov 2024-Feb 2025
*Please use the forms below to submit when your skater will be skating for Nov 2024, Dec 2024, Jan 2025, Feb 2025!
*There is a separate form for each month. PLEASE FILL OUT ALL FORMS BY MIDNIGHT ON 10/31/2024. THANK YOU!
*Please try to make sure your skater is skating the number of days they need to so they can progress. Most skaters are at 4-5 days/week unless you know you’ve discussed something differently with me. I know some weeks (especially the last two weeks of Nov) are going to be a more interesting schedule.
*Please select a time slot that your skater can skate for at least an hour
*If there is a week your skater is skating less, try to skate extra the following week, the week before, etc.
*Great River FSC is hosting their first official virtual test session on Nov 15, 2024.
