Fitness Requirements

If you are figure skating, you are an athlete. As part of your contract, all skaters will need to be completing regular fitness classes however we decide it works well for each individual skater.

Fitness and having a well-rounded off ice plan is the key to preventing injuries on the ice. Your fitness level will also determine if you are able to achieve your goals or not.

There are also a lot of skills skaters simply cannot do in ice skating if they are not strong enough or flexible enough so we are better off addressing the problem rather than avoiding it.
