Emma Mack Progress

7/24/26

Emma’s loops for her Silver Skating Skills test had much better shapes and edges this week, and Emma also did a lot of work on turning her counters more precisely and working on her counters on different patterns. Her broken leg spin is very beautiful too!

Emma’s counter turns are developing good quality, and she has made some good changes on her 5th pattern on her test. Emma’s 1st pattern definitely has better rhythm and flow now too! Emma is working hard on a lot of spins right now, and her forward split spin might be her next challenge, and her cannonball spin is a great position for her! Emma’s axels on the floor are clean too.

Emma’s test is coming along really well! Her loop turns are actually very good (they are very difficult), and she is gaining more power on her first move. Her overall test is looking more smooth. She has been working on hard on her cannonball position, and she can still do axel jumps on the floor!

Emma is doing a great job getting through her test 2-3 times each time she skates, and her patterns are good. We are working on turning her counter turns on the right spot on the ice and keeping her power up on the first and fifth pattern.

Congrats to Emma on passing her Pre-Silver test! It’s so exciting! Emma is doing a great job learning all of the patterns for the Silver skating skills test, and this test is coming along much easier for her than Pre-Silver even though it’s a more complicated test, but that is good!
