The NQS schedule has finally been released. Since we are getting choreography a little late this year, all of the potential competitions your skater could do are being pushed back a little, which actually works great since the NQS schedule is going later this year.

Here are the competitions I’m planning to attend this year and a few other things I am planning:

Feb 28-March 2- Everyone gets their choreography

March 20-30- Technical Specialist will be in to critique programs & evaluate consistency of elements

Early April- Start of Season exhibition

April 25-26- GRFSC Ice Show *some soloists will be doing their competition programs

May 15-17- Roseville Competition in Roseville MN

May 31-June 1- Braemar Competition in Braemar/Edina, MN

June 11-14- Southport Competition in Pleasant Prairie, WI

Fri July 18-Sat July 19 Skating Camp at Inver Grove

Aug 1-2- Robin Lee Competition in the Minneapolis Area

Aug 15-17- L’etoile du Nord Challenge in Coon Rapids, MN

*Aug 20-22- Skate Detroit in Bloomfield Hills, MI

*Sept 18-21- Maplewood Fall Classic in Vadnais Heights, MN

*Sept 30-Oct 3- Texas Trophy in Plano, TX

Oct 31-Nov 2- Autumn Fest in Burnsville, MN

Other possible competitions (dates aren’t officially announced yet):

Nov 8-9- Granite City Classic in St. Cloud, MN

* means that it is a NQS competition, but there are always a non-qualify portion of the competition for skaters in Aspire, Excel or other Well-Balanced levels so anyone can go!
